Who is in it?

Paul Ashton - Jamie Thompson

Favorite Scene:

[spoiler alert]

After seeing one another for the first time in three months, both Jamie and Katie part ways for their new adventures. After walking away, they both turn around for one last hug.

Favorite Quote:

"We need someone to share life with, no matter how imperfect the human"

Review:

What I expected to be a pseudo Rom-Com dressed in some life messages  actually was not so. This Isn't Funny is an interesting film that deals with the interesting people in life, and how they at times can change us for the better, even if they are in our lives for a short time, to help us see our flaws and self-sabotage. Especially, when it comes to dealing with that "right" person.

The film lends a nice touch on the imperfections of us all, and how sometimes love isn't as important as merely supporting and bringing out the best in one another. Or maybe, that is the best form of love, and sometimes, romance isn't all of it.

Paul Ashton, who wrote, directed, and starred in the film was a great lead in the role of Jamie, however, Katie Page's work (a relative newbie to me) was really good and carried the film.

All in all, This Isn't Funny is a nice thoughtful and profound watch. Give it a try if you have the chance.

Predictions and Wild Guesses for the 2025 MLB Season

Well, after that off-season where the Dodgers deferred enough money to build the Athletics a new ballpark, it's time for the remaining fanbases who don't have Guggenheim money to hope for the best.
