3 Up

1. Women's Royal Rumble - I had some doubts. But man, kudos to the WWE, and of course, to all of the women - past and present - who delivered on one of wrestling's biggest nights of the year. Another fantastic weekend done by the WWE. I'm very much looking forward to the road to Wrestlemania.

2. Bruno Mars - Bruno Mars is just one of those guys that transcends all genres. I think he's one of those talents that everyone enjoys. No matter the age, taste of music, or your walk of life. Bruno's style is sick, and he deserves every Grammy award he won tonight.

3. MLB Hall of Fame - Sure, there is always debate, but the eventual inductees for 2018 are all well deserving. Congrats to Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, Jim Thome, and Trevor Hoffman.

3 Down

1. School Shootings - Unfortunately, once we did nothing after Sandy Hook, I've had my doubts about us getting serious about gun control. Yet, here we are, 22 school shootings in 28 days to start 2018. Let that sink in. Ridiculous. We should be ashamed.

2. Steve Wynn - These dude is a creep. Just more powerful men now getting outed for their sexual misconduct.

3. Jay-Z/Trump - It's not Jay-Z, or even the President that bothers me. It's the support that both sides have for "their party" when discussing this latest happenstance around the current administration. At this point, are politics even about people and policy anymore? Or just about given reason to hate on lifestyles and lives that are different from yours?

Would You Rather: Questions 121-130

This edition of "Would You Rather" is credited to the NBA Would You Rather NBA Account on Instagram ( See Here ). Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. Who would you rather have on your favorite NBA team - Giannis Antetokounpo or James Harden?  Seeing how I'm a lifelong suffering Knicks fan, the thought of any of these guys in blue and orange is hard to believe. With that said, I'm taking the Greek Freak for this reason - I enjoy watching him play a bit more. Nothing against Harden who is amazing as well, but at times, the ball sticks and that isn't always fun. Plus, I feel like we haven't yet seen a finished Giannis. 122. Would you rather have Giannis Antetokounpo with no driving ability or James Harden with no Three-Point shooting ability?  This is definitely a weird and unique one, but I'll take Harden. Giannis without his strength doesn't offer much. However, if Harden's d...

The Pondering 10 - Favorite Knicks Head Coaches

I'm still on a championship high (probably until Banner night in October to be honest), so I'm dropping more Pondering 10s as my brain (and heart) works through all of the emotions and reflection from my beloved New York Knicks - 2025-2026 NBA Champions!  Let's talk coaches.  We've been through so many. My fellow Knicks fans, we've seen so many coaches walk the sidelines of Madison Square Garden, and the recent championship is so amazing to think about - Mike Brown, one year, title.  With that said, here is a list of my favorite Knicks Coaches (in my lifetime, so no Red Holtzman). It's tougher than you think, but we're doing it.  To begin, here are those banned from this list. On the sheer qualifier that these coaches - by fault of their own, or maybe not - will always resonate with disdain and the lowest of the lows.  Derek Fisher Oh, the Phil Jackson era. When we were given a coach who had never done so before, implementing the triangle offense was more im...

Knicks Postseason 2026, Conference Finals vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

It feels like forever since we've played.  But we've got our opponent, and it's go time!  Review Thoughts from Round 1 Review Thoughts from Round 2 Like every other Knick fan, I too hoped for a seven-game series between the Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and that's what we got. The long series added time for our squad to rest up (get healthy, OG!) and more time to scout exactly what we'll have to deal with in the Eastern Conference Finals.  We've been here before, and a trip to the NBA Finals once again feels all too close. All too real!  The Cavaliers present some interesting dynamics with their electric backcourt and the size up front with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. There are also two players on the roster, Dennis Schroder and Max Strus, who often find ways to stick it to the Knicks. Sam Merrill seems like the kind of guy who would join that group in this series.  Nonetheless, the Knicks are on a historic run. The Cavs have been knocking on t...
