178. What is your favorite song and why?

I have two. The first one is "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me. The song's lyrics are powerful, and always leave me wondering about my encounter with the creator after death. 

The second is a song called Metalingus, by Alter Bridge. A song that makes for a great song on the iPod when running, and a song that always - always - gets me ready for the day. I especially love the following lyrics: 

On this day its so real to me
Everything has come to life
Another chance to chase a dream
Another chance to feel
Chance to feel alive

179. With the resources you have right now, what can you do to bring yourself closer to your goal?

I can continue to keep and to improve my relationship with those who I love through communication, whether it be face-to-face or through various channels of social media. My personal goal is continue to make others better around me.

Professionally, I can do what everyone else does, network and continue to search the internet for further opportunities.

180. What are your top three priorities?

1. Improve my self to realize my potential.
2. Improve others as much as I can.
3. Maintain a life devoted to my faith.

181. Why do we idolize sports players?

They are the very best at what they do. They are the select few that are capable of achieving and performing at the highest level what what we all did in our streets, yards, or playgrounds as kids. Essentially, they are paid to play a game, and are paid pretty handsomely and rewarded with fame for it. Who wouldn't want to be in that position?

182. What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

Been told (several times) by others that I have had a great impact on their lives. That never gets old.

183. What do you see when you look into the future?

I see pride, I see power, I see a...ahhh, just joking. For those of you who never saw Cool Runnings, I'm sure that went right over your head. 

Seriously, I see a life of growth, confidence, peace, and new adventures in my marriage.

184. What makes you angry?  Why?

I really believe anger is an emotion that you allow something external to dictate. Therefore, I always try to stay calm and not have others determine my mood. With that said, I will say that when I make stupid decisions, especially one of which I knew better, I become angry with myself.

185. What is the most valuable life lesson you learned from your parents?

Being selfless, giving, and thoughtful is more rewarding than receiving, taking advantage of others, or any other materialistic object one can attain.

186. What does love feel like?

Love is trusting another person, and ultimately wanting their happiness more so than your own. 

187. What are your favorite simple pleasures?

Sports. Pro Wrestling. Beer. Working out. Video Games. Softball. Blogging. Watching movies. The Beach. A great pair of pants. Hot tea on a cold day. An empty seat in front of you at a ball game (for a leg rest, of course). A window seat on a plane. That feeling after you connect with a baseball or a softball on the sweet spot of the bat, and you just know it's going a long, looooooooong, way. That sound of a glove popping after a catch. When a favorite song comes on the radio while you're driving. And of course, my recent favorite, when my boss comes and tells us to leave early on a Friday. Whether it is one hour, 30 minutes, or 10 minutes earlier, it's the best.

188. If you could go back in time and tell a younger version of yourself one thing, what would you tell?

Wow. I would tell myself to believe in yourself, as you are much more capable than you think. I never quite cared what others thought about me, but confidence in myself was always my Achilles heel growing up. I would tell a younger D-Robo that he is a lot more equipped for life and it's challenges than he believed. 

Also, I would fill younger D-Robo in on all of the exercise science knowledge I now have, and hopefully he'd be able to take care of his knees and legs.

189. What do you do to deliberately impress others?

 A smile and a compliment never fails...even when it is disingenuous.

190. What will you never do?

 Drugs. Denounce my God. And root for any sports team from Boston.

191. Excluding romantic relationships, who do you love?

This might be the easiest question of this challenge - my parents, my friends, the New York Yankees and the New York Knicks. 

192. What is your earliest childhood memory?

Being dropped of at school at the age of three, and turning back to look at my father, and telling him to go home. For some reason, I was extremely confident at four years old.

193. What book has had the greatest influence on your life?

The Bible, Friday Night Lights by H.G. Bissinger, and Black Boy by Richard Wright.

What is it about? A recent high school graduate cares for his mother while attempting to navigate his first relationship following his father's suicide.  Who is in it? Travis Tope - Sam Nimitz Katherine Hughes - Ellie Vaughn Favorite Scene: [spoiler alert] Sam plays his song for his mom. Favorite Quote: Ellie: "I wish we could have met down the road, maybe when we were like 27." Sam: "I think we needed each other now." Review:  Say You Will was an absolutely pleasant surprise of a watch from the Amazon Prime offerings.  I wasn't exactly sure what to expect with this one, but after the credits rolled, it was a movie that provided authentic characters and a great lesson on life. Remembering Hulkamania

What a complicated mess this news leaves me in. Hulk Hogan. Dead. At 71. I was never a fan of Hogan (in the world of pro wrestling)…I was a Macho Man Randy Savage guy, and later on, a Bret Hart guy (and still am). But like every other wrestling fan from the ’80s through now, Hulk Hogan’s presence and legend are undeniable.  Terry Bolea transcended wrestling as Hulk Hogan and helped the art form take its first step into the mainstream of pop culture.  He later reinvented the business once again with the greatest heel turn ever at Bash at the Beach 1996. Many have changed the business once, but twice? Significantly?! Hogan’s run as Hulkamania and as Hollywood makes a case for the best to ever do it - I can't think of anyone on such a high level on both sides of the pro wrestling coin as a babyface and heel. Every pro wrestling Mount Rushmore (as dumb as these lists have become) includes Hulk Hogan, period. But Hogan is also so instrumental in my ever-evolving ability to separate...
