Dome Pondering Movie Review: Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

What is it about? 

A usual video game villain sets out to attempt to earn a medal to validate him as a "good guy", but eventually brings havoc to the entire arcade where he lives.

Favorite Scene: 

After breaking into the create-a-kart factory, both Vanellope and Ralph go through the game of making a go kart for Vanellope.

Review: 

Why are animated movies so much well put together than those with real actors? Whatever the reason may be, Wreck-It Ralph is another awesome movie from Disney. If you are a fan of animated movies, as well as a fan of video games, you will surely love this film. 

Wreck-It Ralph is the Toy Story of videogames bringing the world of arcades, video game characters, and the quirks that come with videogames to life. With characters coming to life after the arcade closes, it's a nice touch that sets up unique dynamic for the film. From pacman, Zangief, Bowser, and others, its nice to see how they are used in the film. Also, the motion advertisement of Sonci the Hedgehog in "Game Central Station" was another  unique concept. 

Besides the usual cute humor, and the great storytelling, as always, Wreck-It Ralph offered a great message in the difference of being a good and bad guy. 

All in all, another well recommended movie.

This edition of "Would You Rather" is credited to the NBA Would You Rather NBA Account on Instagram ( See Here ). Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. The Pondering 10 - Favorite Knicks Head Coaches

I'm still on a championship high (probably until Banner night in October to be honest), so I'm dropping more Pondering 10s as my brain (and heart) works through all of the emotions and reflection from my beloved New York Knicks - 2025-2026 NBA Champions!  Let's talk coaches.  We've been through so many. Sunday Sundown Rundown - 6/21/26

The Sunday Sundown Rundown (formerly in the format of "3 Up and 3 Down") is where I share thoughts on three topics that piqued my interest, along with my favorite photo from the week. Knicks Parade  I'm sure you can tell from the recent posts on this here site, I am still in the Knicks Championship thought.  NBA Champs, babbyyyyyyyyyyyy!! Nonetheless, the parade was everything any Knicks fan (new, old, and long-time suffering) could have imagined. Memorable scenes. Emotional.
