Sunday Sundown Rundown - 1/19/14

3 Up

1. Helpful Stranger - A mother's blog this week made the associate press. Her post about her appreciation and thankfulness for a passenger who sat next to her autistic daughter and made the trip easier for them was indeed a great read.

2. Peyton Manning - Another big win and another trip to the Super Bowl for possibly the greatest quarterback of this generation. Manning critics always find reasons to discredit his ability, and they were just waiting to do so if he fell to Brady and the Pats today which did not happen.

3. Lebroning - It's about time LeBron James gets some flak for his flopping and acting to which the referees grant him the benefit of the doubt for. This latest fad is quite hilarious. I would totally see myself doing this if I were in Junior High School again.

3 Down

1. Absurd Man - Nothing much to say here. This guy is suing a kid and his family after the kid threw his helmet after a walkoff hit (as customary in baseball) and the helmet somehow damaged his achilles tendon.  Suing a chil for 600K? Money grab? Yah, big time.

2. Madonna - Using the "N" word, getting caught, and apologizing? Yeah, pretty much the typical script. I'm sure she is only sorry that she was caught. As always, anyone able to use the word, already has it in their lexicon. Wasn't the first, and most likely won't be the last.

3. Overreaction to Richard Sherman - Sherman became an instantaneous household name tonight after his big tip that lead to the game clinching interception and of course, his interview with Erin Andrews. The idea that Sherman is this classless guy as being heralded on social media is a bit far fetched. Sherman came off of the biggest play of his life and is on his way to the biggest game of the year and was super emotional. Give the guy a break.

Would You Rather: Questions 121-130

This edition of "Would You Rather" is credited to the NBA Would You Rather NBA Account on Instagram ( See Here ). Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. Who would you rather have on your favorite NBA team - Giannis Antetokounpo or James Harden?  Seeing how I'm a lifelong suffering Knicks fan, the thought of any of these guys in blue and orange is hard to believe. With that said, I'm taking the Greek Freak for this reason - I enjoy watching him play a bit more. Nothing against Harden who is amazing as well, but at times, the ball sticks and that isn't always fun. Plus, I feel like we haven't yet seen a finished Giannis. 122. Would you rather have Giannis Antetokounpo with no driving ability or James Harden with no Three-Point shooting ability?  This is definitely a weird and unique one, but I'll take Harden. Giannis without his strength doesn't offer much. However, if Harden's d...
