The IF Factor: Questions Answered #491-500 (The Finale)

491. If you were to pick the best and worst wedding presents you received, what would they be?

Best wedding present was a George Foreman grill, close second were Survivor Series tickets. Yes, I mean that. The worst was a bed set that we had to return because well, it wasn't our style - or anyone's to be honest.

492. If you had to pick the best advice that someone gave you at, or about, your own wedding, what was it, and who said it?

I don't remember who told me these words, but they simply said to be sure to eat. It's amazing how quickly the day goes by, and how you can get wrapped up in it all without doing something as important as eating. The person was correct. Didn't eat much, and barely ate during the reception.

493. If you could go back and change one thing about your wedding night after the guests were all gone, what would you alter?

Nothing. The night was awesome. Hung out with some old friends, chatted, and relaxed after a looooooong day.

494. If you had to go back and say one thing to a high school crush today, what would you say?

Hahaha, I would say: "hi, how are you?"

Getting that much out in High School was difficult.

495. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

Purchase a house. Maybe two depending on how much I won.

496. If you were tabbed with having to give a company an award for their commercials, what award would you give, and what company would you choose?

Sonic. The two guys in those commercials are hilarious, and the content is as well. There aren't any Sonics here in the city, so I have to grab it whenever we are on the road.

497. If you could read the mind of anyone you know, who would it be?

My wife. Would make life easier wouldn't? I'm sure every man with a wife or girlfriend understands this.

498. If you can relive one moment in professional in basketball with you replacing the hero, what moment would you choose, and who would you replace?

While I would love to say Larry Johnson's four point play in MSG, Michael Jordan's crossover on Byron Russell to win his sixth NBA title was epic.

499. If you could grant one sports championship for a city or region, which team would you choose?

Oh gosh, easy - Knicks. I really want to see the bedlam in this city should the Knicks win a championship and go down the Canyon of Heroes in July.

500. If you can choose one word to describe all 500 questions in this series, what word would you pick?

Fun.

Would You Rather: Questions 121-130

This edition of "Would You Rather" is credited to the NBA Would You Rather NBA Account on Instagram ( See Here ). Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. Who would you rather have on your favorite NBA team - Giannis Antetokounpo or James Harden?  Seeing how I'm a lifelong suffering Knicks fan, the thought of any of these guys in blue and orange is hard to believe. With that said, I'm taking the Greek Freak for this reason - I enjoy watching him play a bit more. Nothing against Harden who is amazing as well, but at times, the ball sticks and that isn't always fun. Plus, I feel like we haven't yet seen a finished Giannis. 122. Would you rather have Giannis Antetokounpo with no driving ability or James Harden with no Three-Point shooting ability?  This is definitely a weird and unique one, but I'll take Harden. Giannis without his strength doesn't offer much. However, if Harden's d...

3 Up 1. MLB Players Weekend - The (insane) traditionalists had a problem with it, but the weekend produced plenty of fun games and moments, and gave fans and players a really cool weekend to be themselves and enjoy the game. I have a ton of stuff to share in the next Dope Sports Threads. Overall, can't wait for the next one... 2. MTV VMA's - Look, there were moments I had no idea what was going on, and I thought Katy Perry was incredibly awkward as the host. However, the moments that promoted fights against hate and empowered people to be themselves were awesome. Especially, Pink's speech - such good stuff. The VMA's still have plenty of work to do though under their new management. 3. Giancarlo Stanton - I think he just hit another home run. The guy has 50(!) and we're not into September, yet. Can he hit 63? Should be interesting going forward if he can stay hot.  3 Down 1. Hurricane Harvey - The devastation and flooding going on in South Texas...

Thoughts on TNA on AMC Debut: "Yup, TNA is back. It is so back."

TNA is back.  And I know that because it is heavily under scrutiny by the internet. But that criticism comes with being back on a major platform like the AMC Network, and of course, taking the next step after a super successful 2025.  So, what did I think?  The show was...ummmm okay, at best. Some of the challenges the company faced heading into this weekend were well documented among the rumor mill, which didn't bode well for the company. In balancing reported visa issues with talent, pivoting after losing core talent to free agency, and attempting to build and manage talent workload with a premium live event on Saturday, TNA found themselves in the usual TNA stuff. The most peculiar - and strangest - of situations to be in going into a big network premiere. This company, man! All in all, again, the show was okay. It had its flaws. It had some cool moments. It didn't live up to the hype (or the expectations we each had for such a premiere). But it's one show. TNA has put...
