Sunday Sundown Rundown - 5/15/16

3 Up

1. MLB - Baseball had a good week - minus a small hiccup to end it, more on that in a bit. From Max Scherzer's 20 strikeout game, the moment of Bartolo Colon hitting a home run, the story of Matt Bush's comeback, and the Play Ball initiative, baseball fans had plenty of moments to enjoy.

2. Steph Curry - Oh you know, not playing a game for two weeks, then returning and dropping seventeen points in an overtime win - a new record - yeah, no big deal for this dude who is absolutely unreal.

3. Boy Showing Dog Training Videos - This boy's parents told him he was responsible for training his puppy so, why not show the dog puppy training videos from YouTube, right? Smart kid, and a super adorable picture.

3 Down

1. Auction of Gun That Killed Trayvon Martin - This is just utterly ridiculous and disrespectful. I can't even imagine what and how the family of Trayvon Martin must feel.

2. Texas Rangers - Cowards. Such cowards. First of all, get over the bat flip! It was awesome, and you - YOU! - gave it up. You also lost the series. Secondly, waiting until the final at-bat between both teams for the season to retaliate with a HBP, and then sucker punching the Bautista? Super cowardly act.

3. Meteorologist Shaming - Who are the people who call or e-mail a news station to complain about the dress the meteorologist is wearing? Seriously? Are there not other important things to do in your life?

Would You Rather: Questions 121-130

This edition of "Would You Rather" is credited to the NBA Would You Rather NBA Account on Instagram ( See Here ). Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. Who would you rather have on your favorite NBA team - Giannis Antetokounpo or James Harden?  Seeing how I'm a lifelong suffering Knicks fan, the thought of any of these guys in blue and orange is hard to believe. With that said, I'm taking the Greek Freak for this reason - I enjoy watching him play a bit more. Nothing against Harden who is amazing as well, but at times, the ball sticks and that isn't always fun. Plus, I feel like we haven't yet seen a finished Giannis. 122. Would you rather have Giannis Antetokounpo with no driving ability or James Harden with no Three-Point shooting ability?  This is definitely a weird and unique one, but I'll take Harden. Giannis without his strength doesn't offer much. However, if Harden's d...

The Pondering 10 - Yankees All-Decade Team for 2010s

I thought I would stay away from the "all-decade" shenanigans, but I got suckered in after all. Around here, end of year rankings, reviews, and reflections rule, so why not compose a list that embodies it all? And why not put together a list around my beloved Yankees? Especially in a decade in which they DID NOT win the World Series. Gasp! With all of that said, please see below not only my list of the Yankees All-Decade Team (because everyone can filter by position), but also by importance and contribution throughout the decade.

Quick Ponder: Each Version of You

What if, each version of you, from each season of your life, met for dinner?
