1. Meghan and Harry - WOW! I found myself flipping to this frequently in between the action of the All-Star Game because well, it's the NBA All-Star game, and really, what did it matter? Meghan spilled some serious tea, and while the insider disclosure was juicy, it revealed a much sadder and troubling side of the "Royalty" many praises. I can't wait to sit down and watch this outright.

BTW - Oprah is a national treasure.

2. "Bloody Sunday" Reminder - Today marks the 56th anniversary of the deadly encounter that happened on the Edmund Pettus Bridge. 56 Years later, and the right to vote is STILL a center for struggle.

In a sobering thought, that violent encounter was JUST a mere 56 years ago - so many people are alive who endured to pushed the bar that much further for equality. So much appreciation and kudos to those who did.

3. The Inside Story - I LOVE a good sports documentary, and the four-part series of one of the greatest studio sports shows of all-time, Inside the NBA, is very much worth the watch. Easily, my favorite in-studio sports show of all-time.

1. State Bills to Restrict Voting - Ironically, on the day we remember Bloody Sunday, over 43 States have pushed forward over 100 bills for action that will reduce or suppress voting rights across the country. The bills add measures, remove sites, and use all sorts of random protocols to suppress the ability to vote for communities of color, the marginalized, the oppressed, and the poor. Why - WHY? - does our country continue to do this?

2. Myanmar Protests - Protests continue to rage in the country of Myanmar as democracy hangs by a thread. This week saw the deadliest of encounters in a situation that continues to pull apart a country.

3. Coming 2 America - I touched base on the film here with my review. SMH. Why did they make this movie?

1. Governor Cuomo - Is there anyone a bigger candidate for the biggest fall of the year (thus far) than Cuomo. And really, if the allegations are true, doesn't he deserve it?

1. NBA All-Star ~~Weekend~~ Night - The Three-point competition was fun. Other than that, the event felt long, and never got out of second gear. Besides the three-point competition, watching Steph Curry and Damian Lillard hoist and make shots with ease from half-court during the game was awesome. Other than that? Eh.

What is it about? A recent high school graduate cares for his mother while attempting to navigate his first relationship following his father's suicide. Who is in it? Travis Tope - Sam Nimitz Katherine Hughes - Ellie Vaughn Favorite Scene: [spoiler alert] Sam plays his song for his mom. Favorite Quote: Ellie: "I wish we could have met down the road, maybe when we were like 27." Sam: "I think we needed each other now." Review: Say You Will was an absolutely pleasant surprise of a watch from the Amazon Prime offerings. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect with this one, but after the credits rolled, it was a movie that provided authentic characters and a great lesson on life. We don't always have to have everything figured out, and it's okay if you don't. Yankees 2025 Postseason - Ponderings and Stuff

Because of the response I received last year for my ponderings on last year's World Series , I decided to do the same for this year's MLB Postseason run. I'll drop some quick ponderings on the Yankees and their playoff run here. Because, well, I don't do "response videos". Yeah, still a words guy. Still a nerd. Nonetheless, who knows? What is it about? A woman moves back in with her parents following a shocking divorce. An unlikely affair with a younger guy revives her life and perspective on marriage. Who is in it? Melanie Lynskey - Amy Christopher Abbott - Jeremy Blythe Danner - Ruth Favorite Scene: Amy's dad, who is often much easier on her than her mom, comes to her bedside and gives her some money. She refuses, then he insists. She then asks, "whose happiness are you buying?" Favorite Quote: Where the f** is 'bottom'? Where the motherf***ing f*** is motherf***ing 'bottom'? Review: Hello, I Must Be Going was an interesting watch. I've always found Melanie Lynskey to be an intriguing actor, and her role in this was just that.
