Review:

Casino Royale is, simply put, awesome. A-w-e-s-o-m-e. This was the first modern Bond film I've viewed since the originals ( I know, I know...), and it did not disappoint. From the opening chase scene to the progression of Bond making his way to the high stakes poker tournament in Montenegro, this film is high octane entertainment from the opening credits.

Casino Royale also is not just your typical action movie with big stunts and explosions, but is a film that does these scenes in a clean, crisp, and dare I say, logical manner. Also adding to the film is the authenticity of the scenery, cars, and stunts.

And yes, Daniel Craig was downright amazing. The supporting cast helps, and they shine because of the great screenplay and writing.

All in all, this movie, albeit very late in viewing during the time of review, is a film that is highly recommended. You won't believe how fast two-plus hours can go by when viewing Casino Royale.

Even after giving it a few days, ironically on the night that the NBA Finals begin - the Finals I thought we really could have gotten to - I still find myself reeling.  Everytime that damn clip of Haliburton's shot bouncing into the air and dropping in...bruh... But, I needed the time to gather my thoughts and feelings, reject the crazy hot takes and absurd opinions, and adjust to some of the immediate changes the Knicks made.  So here we go:  Immediate Thoughts This was easily! - my favorite Knicks season and team since 1998-1999. I know I said that last year, but this era of Knicks basketball has provided me with such luxury to move the goal posts and update these personal lists.  I genuinely loved this run despite its ending.  Jalen Brunson's shot in the Detroit Pistons series ...
