365 Thought Provoking Questions. Answered: #226-241

226. What would you like to change?

The world. I know that sounds pretty ambitious, but to quote Tupac Shakur (I know some of you are saying, "is he really quoting Tupac?", but stay with me), "I'm not saying I'm going to change the world, but I guarantee I will spark the brain that will change the world." I want to be a part of that change somehow. If not, I'll die trying.

227. How many people do you love?

Not many, to be honest. The obvious parents, wife, friends, in-laws, and a select few, but my circle of love, for lack of a less cheesier term, isn't that extended.

228. What’s the best decision you’ve ever made?

At this point in my life, I would say choosing to attend the College that I did. While Cazenovia College wasn't your typical large university and it takes a certain character to stay their four years, I learned many things about myself, others, as well as life all while meeting a tremendous friend and his family, and of course, my wife.

229. What’s your favorite true story that you enjoy sharing with others?

There isn't exactly one. There are so many, from memories growing up on "the block" in Brooklyn to all of those crazy moments in college.

230. Right now, at this moment, what do you want most?

I want to grow. I want to begin expanding myself beyond my current limits and boundaries. I want to take on further responsibilities,  absorb more knowledge, encounter new experiences, travel to the unknown, and face my fears head on. I want all that this world has to offer.

231. What are you waiting for?  How are you writing your life’s story?

I'm waiting for my next step in life. Where it will come from, and where it is going to lead me. Simply waiting for that next move.

As for writing my life's story, in some odd way, this little blog that I started since I was sixteen has served as such.

232. What makes love last?

A willingness to put the other first. If you have that, and keep it, everything - trust, communication, forgiveness, humility - will all fall in place, thus, keeping your love strong.

233. What good comes from suffering?

Realizing the little things in life, and focusing on the things you do have, and not the things you don't. As the saying goes, adversity often introduces a man to himself.

234. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in the last year?

The lesson I have learned over the past year is that confidence makes a ton of difference in how an individual lives. Seems pretty obvious and elementary, but it's a lesson I've not only learned, but come to finally get a hold of.

235. Based on you current daily actions and routines, where would you expect to be in five years?

I expect to be an improved individual. I'm not quite sure where I will be, whether at a new job, a new home, with child, or something completely unforeseen. Only God knows. However, I do expect to be a much improved version of my current self.

236. What was your last major accomplishment?

My last major accomplishment was hanging some photos and frames on the wall of our apartment. Don't think it is much of an accomplishment? Try living with an experienced and industry-respected interior designer. Anything decorative that is approved on the first try is always an accomplishment.

237. Through all of life’s twists and turns who has been there for you?

Easy - my mom and my dad. They have always been there for me no matter what the situation.

238. What or who has been distracting you?

Complacency. It is a big distraction that we often never see until it has us deep within it's grasp. It is the comfort of being content with the present and never wanting to expand, grow, or to improve our character, and ourselves as individuals.

239. What are you looking forward to in the upcoming week?

The weekend. I'm looking forward to playing softball with the guys from my church, and eventually hanging, or even having dinner with the tag-team partner. I know how much she loves having dinner with a sweaty and dirty, post-softball-doubleheader husband.

240. Who is your mentor and what have you learned from them?

Oddly enough, my parents were my mentors. I've learned a lot from them, including the rare quality of unselfishness and giving.

241. What are you uncertain about?

Everyday. Who knows what each day will bring? Life is such a mystery, and each moment brings new experiences, options, controversies and uncertainties.

Would You Rather: Questions 121-130

This edition of "Would You Rather" is credited to the NBA Would You Rather NBA Account on Instagram ( See Here ). Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. Who would you rather have on your favorite NBA team - Giannis Antetokounpo or James Harden?  Seeing how I'm a lifelong suffering Knicks fan, the thought of any of these guys in blue and orange is hard to believe. With that said, I'm taking the Greek Freak for this reason - I enjoy watching him play a bit more. Nothing against Harden who is amazing as well, but at times, the ball sticks and that isn't always fun. Plus, I feel like we haven't yet seen a finished Giannis. 122. Would you rather have Giannis Antetokounpo with no driving ability or James Harden with no Three-Point shooting ability?  This is definitely a weird and unique one, but I'll take Harden. Giannis without his strength doesn't offer much. However, if Harden's d...

Dome Pondering Movie Review: The Man from Toronto (2022)

What is it about?  After an average screw-up is mistaken for an assassin, they must work together to accomplish the mission at hand to break free from other restraints as well.  Who is in it? Kevin Hart - Teddy Jackson Woody Harrelson - The Man from Toronto Favorite Scene:  Teddy is on his first assignment from The Man from Toronto and is in a conference room, and must find out key information. What happens next is Teddy's goofiness shining through awkwardly.  Favorite Quote:   Teddy: [About his minute photos] What's that, for your little serial killer wall? The Man From Toronto: You think you'd make the wall? Come on, man. You're barely fridge material. Review:  This one lasted on the "My Watch" list for a few years. After finally getting to it, I wasn't disappointed.  Woody Harrelson is one of those actors for me who typically isn't in bad stuff, so this one got the benefit of the doubt. While I love Kevin Hart, the trailer alone felt very similar to...
