Sunday Sundown Rundown - 8/11/13

1. Defenders of Freedom - After intelligence intercepted information which posed serious threats to our U.S. Embassies in the Middle East, giving the nod to those that continuously keep us safe, even before it reaches home, easily gets the nod in the 1-slot this week. 

2. Brian Banks - Banks, who was exonerated of rape charges after serving five years for a crime he did not commit, resumed his pursue of his NFL dream by playing with the Atlanta Falcons in a pre-season game this week. 

3. Michael Jordan Dunking - Most can't dunk. Those who could, usually can't past thirty. Jordan did so at the age of 50. Crazy.

1. Moronic Idiots - Who ever the idiot(s) is (are) who defaced the Jackie Robinson statue here in Brooklyn with swastikas and racial slurs get the biggest "down" this week. So sad that people resort to such ridiculous actions whether it were true feelings or sadly, for attention.  

2. Sorry Excuse For a Man - I refuse to give this dope any publicity, but any one who kills their wife and confesses on Facebook along with posting pictures of her body is a coward. Such a sorry excuse for a man.

3. Jack Clark - For his careless rants on Albert Pujols and Justin Verlander. Pujols is in the process of taking legal action, and Verlander is contemplating the same. PED speculation is now more out of control than probably the use is.

Would You Rather: Questions 121-130

This edition of "Would You Rather" is credited to the NBA Would You Rather NBA Account on Instagram ( See Here ). Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. Who would you rather have on your favorite NBA team - Giannis Antetokounpo or James Harden?  Seeing how I'm a lifelong suffering Knicks fan, the thought of any of these guys in blue and orange is hard to believe. With that said, I'm taking the Greek Freak for this reason - I enjoy watching him play a bit more. Nothing against Harden who is amazing as well, but at times, the ball sticks and that isn't always fun. Plus, I feel like we haven't yet seen a finished Giannis. 122. The Pondering 10 - Yankees All-Decade Team for 2010s

I thought I would stay away from the "all-decade" shenanigans, but I got suckered in after all. Around here, end of year rankings, reviews, and reflections rule, so why not compose a list that embodies it all? And why not put together a list around my beloved Yankees? Especially in a decade in which they DID NOT win the World Series. Gasp! Dome Pondering Movie Review: Without Remorse (2021)

What is it about? A Navy SEAL set out to avenge his wife's murder, only to find himself amidst a much larger international conspiracy.  Who is in it? Michael B. Jordan - John Kelly Jodie Turner-Smith - Karen Greer Jamie Bell - Robert Ritter Favorite Scene:  [spoiler alert] After finally confronting Rykov, the team engages in an all-out confrontation with snipers and local police in an attempt to escape alive.  Favorite Quote: "I'll show them what a pawn can do to a king." Review: I finally watched Without Remorse. Because it's an Amazon original film, I may have taken its availability for granted. During a week I had some time off from the World, I finally watched it, and I wasn't disappointed.  For starters, I'm not a huge Tom Clancy aficionado, so my review is coming from a casual.
