Would You Rather Questions: 211-220

211. Would you rather have a pause or a rewind button in your life?

A rewind button would imply the ability to do things over, or again. While that would be great, it does take the essence out of life. You win some, you lose some, and ultimately, you learn.

It would be nice to pause in specific moments to make them last longer, or to simply slow the decision-making process down. We've all been there in becoming overwhelmed in a moment, and either not understanding it fully or missing out.

212. Would you rather always have a full phone battery or a full gas tank?

I understand the (over) reliance on our phones in today's world. But I'm going with gas as plugging in a phone is more convenient (and maybe cheaper?).

213. Would you rather lose all of your teeth or lose a day of your life every time you kissed someone?

This is...weird?

Give me eventual vaneers. No way, I'm kissing my wife.

214. Would you rather oversleep every day for a week or not get any sleep at all for four days?

I used to be able to get away with limited sleep - not anymore. Not in my 40s. I feel it EVERY TIME my body and mind don't get adequate sleep. I'll deal with oversleeping and rushing through the morning routine.

HEy, theres a chance you can still make it on time.

215. Would you rather get trapped in the middle of a food fight or a water balloon fight?

Been there on the food fight thing. Not fun.

I'll take the water balloon fight, especially on a hot summer day.

216. Would you rather be able to take back anything you say or hear any conversation that is about you?

Ooooooooh! This is sort of a take on the above question - deleting comments you say are interesting. I think I'll go this route, we all put our foot in our mouths, this would give me a chance to minimize that.

Hearing any conversation about me would mess with my psyche. I don't need that, and in many cases, I'm not sure I would care.

217. Would you rather be the absolute best at something that no one takes seriously or be average at something well respected?

What does it mean to be average at something well respected? What is that something?! Am I average at being a doctor - because that's not good!

I'll go being awesome at being the best at something no one takes seriously. That makes for a fun fact and an interesting story. I was once amazing at MVP Baseball 2005 for the PlayStation 2. Does that qualify?

218. Would you rather travel the world free for a year or have $50,000 to spend however you please?

Travel the world for free.

There is NO WAY 50K is equivalent to that option these days.

219. Would you rather stay the age you are physically forever or stay the way you are now financially forever?

This is a tough one. I'm not sure I would want to stay the same age physically forever or financially forever. I believe there is some beauty in aging. And with inflation the way it is, there is no chance I would want to be locked in forever.

I guess I'll pick staying where I'm at here at 40 years of age, forever. Not too bad, I guess.

220. Would you rather have a photographic memory or an IQ of 200?

You mean like Mike Ross from Suits? He got pretty far on photographic memory.

I still think I'll choose an IQ of 200. Remembering sounds like it can get exhausting.

Would You Rather: Questions 121-130

Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. Who would you rather have on your favorite NBA team - Giannis Antetokounpo or James Harden?  Seeing how I'm a lifelong suffering Knicks fan, the thought of any of these guys in blue and orange is hard to believe. With that said, I'm taking the Greek Freak for this reason - I enjoy watching him play a bit more. Nothing against Harden who is amazing as well, but at times, the ball sticks and that isn't always fun. Plus, I feel like we haven't yet seen a finished Giannis. 122. Would you rather have Giannis Antetokounpo with no driving ability or James Harden with no Three-Point shooting ability?  This is definitely a weird and unique one, but I'll take Harden. Giannis without his strength doesn't offer much. However, if Harden's d...

The Pondering 10 - Yankees All-Decade Team for 2010s

I thought I would stay away from the "all-decade" shenanigans, but I got suckered in after all. Around here, end of year rankings, reviews, and reflections rule, so why not compose a list that embodies it all? And why not put together a list around my beloved Yankees? Especially in a decade in which they DID NOT win the World Series. Gasp! With all of that said, please see below not only my list of the Yankees All-Decade Team (because everyone can filter by position), but also by importance and contribution throughout the decade.

TNA Lockdown 2026 Review: "Sign me up for more Order 4 drama"

Lockdown turned into a really fun show for me. And that always was the case when the event was a normal thing. It's had its historic clunkiness (electric cage match anyone?), but that's pro wrestling, baby! But seriously, Lockdown didn't feel like much until the last few weeks. Maybe it was the creative change, but the show came about with a strong undercard over several weeks carried (in my opinion) by Mustafa Ali vs. Jason Hotch and Cedric Alexander vs. Leon Slater. The main event felt more so on name value than storyline, but that didn't carry too much through the night.  For me, the main event of this was always Mustafa Ali vs. Jason Hotch, and that did not disappoint.   --- Random Tidbits Lots of "cage" talk going into this one, and quite honestly, it was warranted. TNA went years - YEARS! - without a cage match, likely for budgeting and logistical reasons. We saw a really rough-looking cage before TNA gave us an updated version that also served as a nod ...
