The details are horrific. Eight children dead. A father - say, what?! - killing them all, including seven of his own. One surviving child in the incident now carries this trauma and weight with them for the rest of their lives.
There's so much to unpack. What are we doing as men? What are we doing as a country? Another day, another shooting. Where are our morals? Our appreciation for life?
I also think about the men and women in uniform investigating this incident. The visuals and scenes their intaking...say a prayer for their mental health and well-being.
It's stories like this that just make you wonder about how we're lifting each other up...
Church Reckons with Government
The resident posting A.I. images to his account depicting himself as a healing Jesus is the kind of thing that is so 2026. The President is also in a war of words with the Pope. Yes, that, too, is so 2026.
Even talking heads, who are so tied to their political identity, are now throwing down their religion for their political party.
The entire week has been such a conflicting connection of faith and politics in the news, and the fallout of it all has been a complex one for so many who never found conflict in the space. Many Americans, specifically those who voted for the current President, are finding themselves wrestling with identities and beliefs that may force a choice between the two in some form.
Wild Times.
Wrestlemania - Night Two Only, Please. And Thank You.
Yeah, we're not including Wrestlemania Saturday night on this rundown - whatever that was on Saturday night.
Luckily, night two felt like Wrestlemania and very much delivered in that way. From Brock Lesnar retiring(?!) to the door opening for new stars, all the way to a timeless main event that will be watched for years to come, the Jekyll-Hyde feel to this year's event will spur plenty of conversation on what was already a highly controversial and polarizing event.
Please, someone in the WWE, stop the advertisements on events?!!!
