Sunday Sundown Rundown - 9/29/13

1. Mariano Rivera - Yeah, you just knew this would top the list. Thursday night was awesome, at the same time, just super sad. It's going to be weird not having #42 out of the bullpen next year. It won't truly settle in until game #1 in 2014.

2. Likeable Job - I had a pretty hectic week working almost 80 hours this week. Needless to say, this is a plus because when you enjoy what you do for a living, it makes it that much easier to invest and immerse yourself into your work.

3. Andy Pettitte - Complete game win in Houston, Texas. You couldn't have scripted a better ending to a career of one of the best big-game pitchers of this generation.

1. Murdered Pastor - The horrific thought of violence now entering a place of worship just proves how unsafe our world has become.

2. Nigeria Mass Shooting - For the second week in a row, mass shootings fill the "down" section as several college students in Nigeria were killed in the middle of the night by Islamic radicals. The sad news just continues...

3. Geno Smith - Could you have had a worst performance?

Would You Rather: Questions 121-130

This edition of "Would You Rather" is credited to the NBA Would You Rather NBA Account on Instagram ( See Here ). Adding to the fun, this edition (and possibly future ones) are all NBA basketball questions.  121. Who would you rather have on your favorite NBA team - Giannis Antetokounpo or James Harden?  Seeing how I'm a lifelong suffering Knicks fan, the thought of any of these guys in blue and orange is hard to believe. With that said, I'm taking the Greek Freak for this reason - I enjoy watching him play a bit more. Nothing against Harden who is amazing as well, but at times, the ball sticks and that isn't always fun. Plus, I feel like we haven't yet seen a finished Giannis. 122. Sunday Sundown Rundown - 6/21/26

The Sunday Sundown Rundown (formerly in the format of "3 Up and 3 Down") is where I share thoughts on three topics that piqued my interest, along with my favorite photo from the week. Knicks Parade  I'm sure you can tell from the recent posts on this here site, I am still in the Knicks Championship thought.  NBA Champs, babbyyyyyyyyyyyy!! Nonetheless, the parade was everything any Knicks fan (new, old, and long-time suffering) could have imagined. Memorable scenes. Emotional. And unforgettable.  For me, it was Mayor Mahdani's speech that jogged us down memory lane, and more so, the visual of the NBA Cup Trophy, the Eastern Conference Trophy (Bob Cousy Trophy), and dear (elusive) Larry O'Brien sitting on a table in the NYC sun. Knicks Postseason 2026, Conference Finals vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

It feels like forever since we've played.  But we've got our opponent, and it's go time!  Review Thoughts from Round 1 Review Thoughts from Round 2 Like every other Knick fan, I too hoped for a seven-game series between the Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and that's what we got. The long series added time for our squad to rest up (get healthy, OG!) and more time to scout exactly what we'll have to deal with in the Eastern Conference Finals.  We've been here before, and a trip to the NBA Finals once again feels all too close. All too real!  The Cavaliers present some interesting dynamics with their electric backcourt and the size up front with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. There are also two players on the roster, Dennis Schroder and Max Strus, who often find ways to stick it to the Knicks.
