After a list leaked with all of the undercover agents in terrorist cell groups across the world falls into the wrong hands, Bond must comeback for country and for his personal trust of M to make sure no other names are released from the group, and that the threat is put to rest for good.

Who is in it?

Daniel Craig - James Bond

M - Judi Dench

Javier Barden - Silva

Favorite Scene:

After chasing Silva following his escape through the underground of London, Silva leads Bond into a trap where a train comes crashing through the underground tube.

Favorite Quote:

Q: It always makes me feel a bit melancholy. Grand old war ship. being ignominiously haunted away to scrap... The inevitability of time, don't you think? What do you see?
James Bond: A bloody big ship. Excuse me.
Q: 007. I'm your new Quartermaster.
James Bond: You must be joking.
Q: Why, because I'm not wearing a lab coat?
James Bond: Because you still have spots.
Q: My complexion is hardly relevant.
James Bond: Your competence is.
Q: Age is no guarantee of efficiency.
James Bond: And youth is no guarantee of innovation.
Q: Well, I'll hazard I can do more damage on my laptop sitting in my pajamas before my first cup of Earl Grey than you can do in a year in the field.
James Bond: Oh, so why do you need me?
Q: Every now and then a trigger has to be pulled.
James Bond: Or not pulled. It's hard to know which in your pajamas. Q.
Q: 007.

Review:

Before I get into this, let me just say the Skyfall theme song by Adele is amazing. Very, very catchy, and she deserved any and all awards she can for it.

As for Skyfall, the film is yet another great Bond movie with Daniel Craig in the lead. As always, the opening chase scene grabs viewers right away and sets the stage for a comeback plot for Bond. And really, the awesome plots are what make the Bond movies in how well-paced they are. This time, we see more of a reveal to the Bond character as the plot focuses on his personal relationship and connection to "M", and the inner struggle to do what he does best, espionage.

Many of the scenes are quite amazing, from the one mentioned above of the train crashing through to the final moments at Skyfall, this movie is all about capturing the scenery. And yes, Daniel Craig was fantastic again.

However, in my opinion (and that is exactly what this is), Skyfall is good, but not as great as Casino Royale was. Nonetheless, if you dig action films, Skyfall is a film that is must-see.

A great gift to us.   2. A'ja Wilson - The WNBA has entered our mainstream sports landscape because of Caitlin Clark. Yes, that is very true. But there is an amazing talent in A'ja Wilson who continues to dominate, and this week, she set the single-season scoring record and likely will do the same in smashing the single-season rebound record.  3. Thoughts on Second 2024 Presidential Debate

That was soooooooooo much different than what we witnessed in the first debate.  So. Much. Different.  Yet, why does it still feel like not much was impacted? Overall, I stepped away from this debate with the overarching theme that Kamala Harris did what she needed to do. And that was not engage in a pity back-and-forth with Trump who wants to muddy the waters of any debate or discourse, force him to bring something new to the table and force him to get into a policy discussion beyond the usual surface sayings and fire-alarm narratives.  She did that.  For Trump. He has his voters. He is not losing them. But I thought Trump didn't do enough to interest those voters who have soured on him as well as those who are not yet sold on Kamala (this administration, or even the Democratic Party).  We saw the same from Trump. No need to answer questions. Dictate the narrative with what you want. Reply with emotion. Evade policy discussion. And you know, be Trump.  Was there a winner? In a tra
